Câmara Comércio Brasil- Líbano

The BRAZIL-LEBANON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (CCBL) is a non-profit Brazilian organization dedicated to the promotion of business between Brazilians and Lebanese all around the world. It has nationwide presence, representing a community equivalent to almost 5% of the entire Brazilian population.

History

Board meeting (circa 1968)
Established almost half a century ago, CCBL has always had superlative names from the Lebanese immigration among its members. As Brazil’s foreign trade developed, its action as business catalyst was gradually consolidated, especially as Beirut Expo’73 marked the beginning of an era of significant Brazilian presence in that regional market.

The Land of the Cedars would then endure difficult years. By the turn of the century CCBL reappears as the main agent of the two countries’s formidable synergy. In a short period of time its initiatives have facilitated unprecedented integration between Brazil and a fast recovering Lebanon, having registered a 150% increment in the bilateral exchange record in just three years.
